Decanter is the world’s leading wine media brand.
Engaging with wine lovers in over 100 countries around the globe, Decanter provides authoritative content, independent advice and inspirational events and competitions.
As the oldest consumer wine publication in the UK, Decanter was founded in London in 1975 following the success of wine columns in British newspapers.
It was the brainchild of Colin Parnell and Tony Lord, two of the most unlikely magazine entrepreneurs Britain has ever seen. Parnell was editing the wine trade magazine Wine & Spirit when he and his deputy, Lord – a young Australian journalist and wine enthusiast – spotted a gap in the market for a wine magazine for consumers.
Fortunati Fortivo Bordeaux Blend 2022
The FORTIVO Proprietary Red Bordeaux Blend is the winery's take on the Italian word forte, meaning "strong." Aged for 20 months in 25% new French oak, the 2022 vintage, shaped by the warm growing season, delivers a wine that embodies the concept of a "gentle giant." Firm yet inviting tannins with a velvety texture support a lifted profile of red and black-toned fruits, accented by cola spices. A subtle hint of creamy caramel emerges on the lengthy finish, adding depth and richness. A well-balanced and approachable wine that combines strength with elegance

Fortunati Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Dusty currant and fig notes leap from the glass, complemented by vibrant kirsch fruit character. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate, it showcases fine-grained tannins, delivering good tension and freshness. These qualities are balanced by decadent baked cherry and dried herb nuances, culminating in a lengthy and satisfying finish.

Fortunati Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Aged for 21 months in 100% French oak, with 50% new barrels, this wine presents brighter aromatics than the Reserve bottling. It offers brambly blackberry and cherry fruit, accented by cola notes. The tannins are sappy, with a hint of pliancy, and the finish is firm and inviting, building with a saline-mineral intensity. This wine practically begs to be paired with crispy chicken, salty hard cheeses, or rich Indian dishes, enhancing its dynamic character and depth.
